Celebrate your graduation with these delightful pink cookies that are perfect for the occasion! These cookies are not only visually appealing but also delicious, making them a must-have for your graduation party.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 cup pink gel food coloring
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • Sprinkles for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg, vanilla extract, almond extract, and pink gel food coloring to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  6. Fold in the white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Optional: Add sprinkles on top of each cookie before baking.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers may look slightly underbaked; they will continue to cook as they cool.
  10. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For a deeper pink color, add more pink gel food coloring as desired.
  • These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
