- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually blend in the flour mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and sprinkles, if using.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
