Tender and juicy boneless chicken thighs coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and sesame oil.
  2. Season the boneless chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the chicken thighs in a large resealable bag or bowl and pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for more flavor).
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it in a baking dish. Reserve the marinade for later.
  6. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. While the chicken is baking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  8. Once the chicken is done, brush the thickened marinade over the chicken thighs.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with rice or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
  • You can also grill the chicken for a smoky flavor.
