- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the vanilla extract and egg yolk, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and place them on a piece of parchment paper in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each cookie.
- Cook in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a chewier cookie, underbake by a minute or two.
- Store leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
