- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, then coat with the Parmesan mixture, pressing down to adhere the coating.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the coated chicken breasts in the basket.
- Spray the tops of the chicken with cooking spray to help them brown.
- Cook in the air fryer for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Italian dressing for a few hours before breading.
- You can substitute the breadcrumbs with panko for an even crunchier texture.
