Ingredients

  • 2 large onions, sliced into rings
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional for extra crunch)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced onions with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the onions are evenly coated.
  3. If using, sprinkle breadcrumbs over the onion mixture and toss again.
  4. Place the seasoned onions in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  5. Air fry for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the onions are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and serve hot as a side dish or topping.
