Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup (50g) packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup (175g) chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and softened butter until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and egg to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of cookie dough onto a piece of parchment paper, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Carefully place the parchment with the cookie dough balls into the air fryer basket.
  9. Air fry the cookies at 320°F (160°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  10. Remove the cookies from the air fryer and allow them to cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For softer cookies, undercook them slightly and let them sit in the air fryer for a few minutes after cooking.
