Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Frosting
  • 2 cups Chocolate Melts
  • 20 Lollipop Sticks
  • 20 Square Chocolate Candies
  • as needed Gold Star Sprinkles

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, crumble the baked cake until it resembles fine crumbs.
  2. Add frosting to the cake crumbs, a little at a time, mixing until the mixture is moist enough to hold together when rolled into balls.
  3. Roll the cake mixture into balls about 1 inch in diameter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Insert a lollipop stick into each cake ball and freeze for about 30 minutes until firm.
  5. Melt the chocolate melts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  6. Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.
  7. Immediately place a square chocolate candy on top of the cake pop to create the cap.
  8. Sprinkle the gold star sprinkles on top of the square candy for decoration.
  9. Place the finished cake pops upright in a foam block or cake pop stand to set.
  10. Let them cool completely before serving.
