- 1/2 cup Frosting
- 2 cups Chocolate Melts
- 20 Lollipop Sticks
- 20 Square Chocolate Candies
- as needed Gold Star Sprinkles
Instructions
- In a large bowl, crumble the baked cake until it resembles fine crumbs.
- Add frosting to the cake crumbs, a little at a time, mixing until the mixture is moist enough to hold together when rolled into balls.
- Roll the cake mixture into balls about 1 inch in diameter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Insert a lollipop stick into each cake ball and freeze for about 30 minutes until firm.
- Melt the chocolate melts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.
- Immediately place a square chocolate candy on top of the cake pop to create the cap.
- Sprinkle the gold star sprinkles on top of the square candy for decoration.
- Place the finished cake pops upright in a foam block or cake pop stand to set.
- Let them cool completely before serving.
